The examinations, Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE), is tackled by class eight pupils as their final examination at that level of study after eight years.

Prof. Wakhunghu had a childhood ambition of becoming a Professor by the time she was 30 years old. She achieved this with much grace and humility.
