Decent burial

โ€œThe body will arrive at JKIA on Tuesday night and we have made plans to transfer it to a private mortuary ahead of the burial in Kinamba village on Friday,โ€ he said.

Njuguna thanked the Kenyan and Germany embassies for the support they have given so that they can give his sister a decent burial.

โ€œPolice told us the suspect is still at large but they have exuded confidence itโ€™s a matter of time before they catch up with him,โ€ he said.

Family spokesman Simon Wanyoike said they held a mini-harambee held last week.

Wanyoike expressed concern over the number of Kenyans who had been killed abroad.

โ€œI was among those who participated in a harambee to raise funds to send Waithera to Germany. Itโ€™s painful we are now going to receive her lifeless body,โ€ he said.

Naivasha MP Jane Kihara is hopeful the suspect will be arrested. She said, โ€œThere is nothing as painful as a parent sending a child abroad onlt to be called to collect their body.โ€
