Project working with young people in UK

PROUD 2B Kenyan-British is a project working with young people who are born in Britain and have Kenyan roots. Jane Henya founder of Jambo Africa has been working as a counselling therapist with a lot of these young people and most of them are facing identity crises.

At home they are told they are Kenyans and in the local society they are British. Unless we help our young people sort out their identity crises we will end up losing them .

  1. DEAR OURS ABROAD,
MAY YOU HELP ME GET SPONSOR FOR A NEEDY GIRL AT JOMO KENYATTA UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE AND TECHNOLOGY. SHE JOINED HERE AS SHE WAS EXPECTING TO BE SPONSORED BY A CHURCH -BASED FOUNDATION THAT HAS LET HER DOWN. I BELIEVE HAPPINESS COMES FROM HELPING AND GIVING -NOT BUYING AND HAVING. SHE IS STUDYING BSC IN AGRICULTURAL ECONOMICS.

    WITH CHRIST’S LOVE,
    ISAAC OTIENO
