The rule of engagement with Kenya Embassy in Washington DC has changed,according to the notice letter below,Kenya Embassy will only engage with properly registered and recognized Diaspora Associations.Organizations are encouraged to submit the necessary documents by 31st October 2018.
Reference is made to the post on the Embassy’s website KEW/18.ADM/CONF/7/VOL11/89 dated May 2018 in regard to the above subject and please note that  only the following Diaspora Associations have responded with the required information:-
    1.Kenyan Parents in USA based in Georgia
     2.Kenyan Christian Fellowship in America (KCFA) Triangle Chapter based in North Carolina
   3.Kenyan Women in the United States (KWITU) based in New Jersey

To this end, as we continue to focus in strengthening the  engagement with the Kenyan Diaspora in the US through the Diaspora Associations we kindly request you to once again to address the matter and make the necessary arrangements to  forward the required information  listed here below i.e
- Copies of the Constitution
- Names of duly elected officials and
- Complete contact detail i.e telephone number, postal and physical address and website if any.
This information is important, as it will enable the Mission to execute the key interventions spelt out in the Diaspora Policy by partnering with the respective Diaspora Associations located in the United States.
