Strange Times: Changing My Sexuality for Immigration Purposes?
When the US Supreme Court rules on issues of culture and social norms, the impact is not only within the United States. Rather, it vibrates in every US Embassy, even in the Republic of Kenya, all the way to the village. US policy has to be consistent with the US Constitution and laws. Therefore, when the US Supreme Court ruled that men can marry men and women can marry women, or that a man or woman is not a biological category but an idea, this policy covered Americans and must be respected by the government when establishing US policies in the United States or abroad. This includes immigration policy.
Africans have historical voiced their disgust with the idea that a man can sleep naked with a man and a woman sleep naked with another woman and engage in sexual intercourse. Many villagers have never even begun to think about what that means. “A man having sex with a man?” One villager asked me. “How do they do that and what organs of the body do they engage in this act?” How do you answer such a question? Do you say, “Unajua, wanatumia —-?” Many villagers do not understand and I even cannot imagine this act.
The villager will be even more surprised to learn that the US Supreme Court just ruled that a man is not man and a woman is not a women: It is all a matter of perspective. In its 6-2 ruling the US Supreme Court said that companies couldn’t discriminate against transgender people. Every category of gender is protected under the US employment law. What that means is that those people who work under the American law, including foreign workers who receive money from the United States government cannot discriminate against any sexual categories.
There are many NGOs in Kenya working to recruit young people to become gay, lesbian, transgender, and now any sexual orientation. They are supported by American money. The head of the Kenya HIV-AIDS projects has accused Lesbians, Bisexual, Gay, Transgender in Kenya and East Africa of seeking to use US aid given for fighting AIDS to recruit poor, young Kenyans into their lifestyles. The musician Elton John also gives money to Kenya for ‘AIDs’ purposes. The Ministry of Health in Kenya knows what is happening (or is being attempted) with these funds and does nothing!
These groups hold meetings in major Kenyan hotels and resorts under the disguise of helping to fight AIDS. They use these platforms to recruit young villagers to adopt this sexual deviant behavior. According to a professor in Eldoret University, many young people are wooed by money, with one official saying that the young people are paid up to 10,000 Kenya shillings to engage in homosexual acts.
There is a story circulating about IIhan Abdullahi Omar who was a refugee at Dadaab Refugee Camp in Northern Kenya. She is now a US Representative from Minnesota and it is said that she married her brother so that he could stay in America, which technically is incestuous if it were true. Some crazy African men and women may now even attempt to use this new ruling by the US Supreme Court to bring their brothers and sisters as homosexual lovers for ‘marriage’. The US Supreme Court has now opened the door for
people to be creative. They can now bring their ‘whatever’ sex as brides or husbands! Cousins, aunties, nieces, nephews, you name it!
Remaining morally upright in a society of moral decadence takes courage. Humanity submits to all kinds of decadence to preserve its ‘freedom’ from what it calls ‘Divine Intrusion.’ For the light has come into the world, but man loved darkness before light because their deeds are evil.” (John 3:19. NIV) It is in times of great moral challenge that people can show their true colors. Angels visited Sodom and Gomorrah to identify the number of moral people left, as per Abraham conversation with the Lord God in Genesis18. Abraham’s nephew Lot welcomed the angels.
They agreed to spend a night in his home. Lot did this knowing that the city was full of homosexual deviants, so he took them under his protection against the men of the city as their righteous host. When the men of Sodom and Gomorrah discovered that the guests were staying with Lot, they gathered outside his home, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.” (Genesis 19:5. NIV).
To protect the angels, Lot offered his own daughters to be raped by the community protecting the moral responsibility of the society to protect guests. His moral courage exposed his heart to God: He was not going to be led by societal decadence but by the Divine principle of GOOD found in his uncle Abraham. “Be Holy for I the Lord is Holy.”(1st Peter 1:16. NIV). The Greek meaning of Holy is SEPARATE, KUJITENGA in Kiswahili (Separate yourself from evil. Become like the, I AM).
His preservation by God after the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah by fire is a testimony that God stands with those who preserve His moral GOOD. And in these times of moral decadence supported even by constitutions and laws, those who believe in God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, God the father of the Lord Jesus Christ, must stand morally against collective societal decadence.
