They key to setting limits with others is being honest with them. Let them know what you are uncomfortable with, what you do not like, or when they offend you. By doing so, you let them know areas in your life where not to trespass. The Bible says in Deuteronomy 32:8: “When the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations, When He separated the sons of Adam, He set the boundaries of the peoples According to the number of the children of Israel.” In order to avoid conflict among the people, the LORD ensured that the sons of Adam knew the boundaries of their land.
