Makadara MP Gideon ‘Sonko’ Mbuvi is set to tour State House in Uganda at the invitation of President Museveni. Sonko will be accompanied by former Mungiki leaders Ndura Waruinge and Maina Njenga.
According to those close to Sonko, the trio met Museveni’s special envoy Dr Captain George Michael Mukula at Intercontinental Hotel on Tuesday evening, before retreating to a popular restaurant along Langata Road for dinner.
Before they were joined by Mukula, the three leaders, our source who sought anonymity further intimates that they were discussing which presidential candidate to support in next year’s elections.
This will not be the first time Njenga will be going to Uganda courtesy of the head of state, as he also attended Museveni’s inauguration last May at the Kololo Ceremonial Ground in Kampala.
