TNA is now demanding an apology from the US over Johnie Carson’s remarks yesterday regarding consequences over March elections results.
The comments by the US official is just an inkling of the many made by the international community which has been coming together taking a common stand.
France, Switzerland and UK have also joined the chorus and have said they support the International Criminal Court (ICC) process in Kenya and will only have ‘essential contact’ with Uhuru Kenyatta if he is elected president.
US President Barack Obama earlier this week made comments suggesting that US would respect the choice of the Kenyan people and stated that he did not have a preferred candidate in the race. However not many people took his comments at face value and believed that he did not mean that the election of the war suspects would be a welcome move.
Johnie Carson’s comments seem to cement this belief.
