Thursdayย Februaryย 7, 2013 –ย Eagle alliance Presidential hopeful Peter Kenneth has urged members of the Kikuyu community to shun political euphoria of voting for a party saying it has been passed by events.
Addressing residents of Muranga County on Wednesday, Kenneth who is also the Gatanga MP, said leaders should be elected based on their track record and not based on their party affiliations.
Kenneth also urged the locals to support his Presidential bid, saying he has demonstrated what he can do to the country by developing his own Gatanga constituency.
โKenya requires a leader with a development track record not a politician as there is a lot to be done,โ Kenneth said.
The KNC leader also said he would soon carry out campaigns in Kiambu County where locals had invited him owing to his track record.
He urged Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta to prepare for a bruising battle in Central Kenya, saying he will get a larger share of the votes that will be cast on March 4th.
