RALEIGH, N.C. :Raleigh Police are investigating a fatal accident involving a pedestrian at Capital Boulevard and Trawick Road.
Police identified the woman Thursday afternoon as 64-year-old Cornelia Olero Amissah.
Police said the incident happened just before 7 a.m. Officers believe she was struck by multiple vehicles, and only one of those remained on the scene. Police urged anyone with any information to call (919) 834-HELP.
All lanes northbound on Capital Boulevard near Trawick Road were blocked as officers investigated the accident but it was reopened around 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
