Kenya has strongest army in East Africa

KENYA has been ranked among top countries in Africa with a strong army.

According to this year’s rankings released by Global Fire Power, Kenya’s military strength and fire-power is ranked the sixth on the continent and position 63 in the world ranking where 106 countries were evaluated. No other East African country is ranked in the top ten.

In Africa, Egypt has the strongest army, followed by Algeria and Ethiopia.

South Africa’s military is ranked fourth best on the continent followed by Nigeria.

Global Fire Power says Kenya has 24,000 active front-line soldiers.
