Death and memorial service; Elizabeth Kemunto

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we are informing you of the death of Mrs Elizabeth Kemunto Nyairo on February 5^th, 2015 at Coptic Hospital, Nairobi. She was the wife of Mzee Johnson Nyairo Omwena, Engwora Village, Nyaribari Masaba, Kisii, Kenya. She was the beloved mother to Lillian Mecha and mother-in-law to Joseph Mecha, of Takoma Park, MD; Wilfred Gichaba, Dr. Newton Morara, Elijah Bosire, Dorothy Kwamboka in Kenya, Franklin Nyairo in Finland and Karen Bosibori.  She was also step-mother to Joyce Bwari Nyairo of MD; Alfred Gesimba, Simon Nyandemo, Stephen Orare Nyairo of MN; Prof. Kennedy Obare Nyairo of TX, Evelyne Moraa Nyairo of Canada; and Phane Ogendi of AL. She was Aunt to Evans Nyairo of PA among many others here in the US and around the world.

Daily prayers are ongoing at Lilian and Joseph Mecha’s home (7600 maple avenue, Takoma Park , MD 20912 ). There will be a Memorial Service and Fundraiser on Friday, February 13^th 2015 starting from 7pm at (9704 Rhode Island avenue , College Park , MD
