Nairobiโs Southern by-pass, running along the Nairobi National Park fence across Langata Road into Kikuyu is nearing completion.
The project involvesย construction of a 28.6km dual carriageway with 12km slip roads and an extra 8.5km service roads. The road is meant to decongest the city byย providingย an alternative route for motorists going to Western Kenya.
It startsย from the junction of Mombasa Road interchange and ends on the Kabete-Limuru Road in Kikuyu town. The Sh17 billion project is 85% funded by the Chinese, and should be ready by July.
