NYAMIRA COUNTY FIRST LADY SUPPORTS ECDE LEARNERS
Nyamira County First Lady Emily Nyaribo, Thursday, held a meeting with a team from Lake Region Economic Bloc (LREB) and discussed on how to nurture and care for children in Early Development classes in the devolved unit.
The initiative termed as “Smart Start”, intends to promote good Health, adequate nutrition, responsive care giving, security and safety opportunities for Early Learning.
The First Lady said she was committed in ensuring that the initiative is rolled out in the County.
Once implemented, she noted the initiative will benefit vulnerable children in ECDE classes.
She thanked the Economic Block partners for considering to have the initiative in Nyamira.
In attendance were partners from Path, KMET, Catholic Relief Service and the Anglican Development Service
Later, the delegates paid a courtesy call to H.E Governor Amos Nyaribo.
The Governor commended the initiative and pledged that his Government will give it full support.
