A student in Moi University Kitale Campus has been rescued after reportedly going missing for two weeks without traces of his whereabouts. The 21 year old named Ivan Jack Otieno who was shockingly found locked in a coffin, narrated that he had been kidnapped by a stranger who had approached and requested him for assistance while in School.
The abductor is said to have been looking for a way to settle a score with Jack’s mother over tender disagreements, and demanded Kshs. 8,000,000/- ransom or his murder. His freedom came on Tuesday when he was re-united with his family members after a good Samaritan with the aide of policemen, directed them to the place where he was being held hostage by the kidnapper.
