A traffic police officer was reportedly arrested by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) detectives while receiving bribes along Kutus-Kerugoya Road.
Two other officers said to be part of the illegal affair fled before the detectives got hold of them.

Bundles of notes were recovered by the anti-graft officers from the scene of the incident.
EACC has been on the hunt for traffic police officers soliciting bribes from motorists.
In a recent dramatic incident along Mombasa Road in Athi River, traffic officers rescued their three counterparts from the nab of EACC detectives, after taking bribes summing up to Sh28,000 from motorists.
