It is with great sadness and acceptance of the will of God that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved dad, Mr. Stephen Mungai Kamau, on January 6, 2016 in Nairobi Kenya. He is husband to Rachel Mumbi Mungai and father to: Elizabeth Njoki Kariuki and Joseph Kariuki, Richard Waruingi Mungai and Karen Waruingi, Sammy Kamau Mungai and the late Ruth Kamau, the late Jimmy Gichuri Mungai, Dr. Murugi Mungai-Kamau and Thomas Gatuyu Kamau (Columbia MD, USA), George Macheho Mungai (Baltimore, MD, USA), Nancy Wamaitha Whitby (Modesto, CA, USA), and the late Eunice Wambui Mungai.

Mr Mungai leaves behind to cherish memories, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Friends and family are meeting at Murugi and Kamau’s house: 4914 Good Hours Place, Columbia MD 21044 on Friday January 8th between 7 and 9 pm for prayer and financial support. A memorial service for Mr. Mungai will be held at the same venue on Saturday, January 9th, 2016 from 5-9pm.
