Two Members of Parliament (MPs) on Monday narrowly escaped death after they were involved in a road accident in the outskirts of Eldoret town.
Machakos Town MP Victor Munyaka and his Kwanza counterpart Ferdinandย Wanyonyi escaped unhurt after the vehicle they were travelling in overturned at Annex area along Eldoret-Nakuru highway.
The two are said to have been returning from a two-day tour of Uasin Gishu County in the company of otherย members of the Parliamentary Agriculture Committee.
During the incident, other occupants of the vehicle also escaped without injuries.
The accident attracted a crowd which turned up to pull the victims out of the vehicleย despite heavy rains that were pounding the area
