An armed gunman on Wednesday night stormed Tuskys Daima along Tom Mboya street.

According to eyewitness reports, the lone gunman raided the retail chain and fired two rounds in the air as shopkeepers and customers scampered for safety.
CCTV footage shows a man dressed in black approach a cash register and fire two shots in the air in the 8.20 PM incident. He is then seen forcefully taking a white sack from one of the supermarket’s chief cashier and walks away.

No injuries were reported as the branch was immediately closed after police officers arrived at the scene.
It is estimated that the gunman made away with the day’s collection worth of Sh1 Million.
Investigations are ongoing.
