A Kenyan pilot shocked Bondo town residents after he landed a chopper on a busy highway Saturday morning.
The incident brought activities in the area to a halt as curious residents milled the area to catch a glimpse of what had happened.
Motorists who heard the chopper’s deafening drill scampered for safety.
Interestingly, the pilot said he landed the chopper to ‘hug his mum’.
He was reportedly on a return trip after dropping Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo and ‘missed’ his mum who was in Pride Hotel in the town.
Apparently, there is no airstrip close to the town and the pilot could not imagine leaving without saying hi to mum. Talk of love for mama!
The surprise visit caught the lucky mum unawares and she could not believe her son’s action of love.
The two had a brief chat at the roadside before the pilot flew away.
