And now they are robbing Kenyans: Three Chinese nationalsย were on Thursday arraigned in aย Nairobi court and charged withย robbery with violence.
The three,ย Wang Liyong, Ye Daluย andย Peng Hongwenย were accused of robbingย Samuel Mbugua Njorogeย of Kshs5 Million in cash and a car worth Kshs2.1 Million.
The incident is alleged to have taken place atย Golf Villas Estate along Muchai Drive within Nairobi on Januaryย 10, 2019.
According to court documents, the three jointly with others not before courtย robbedย Njoroge of a Mitsubishiย Pajeroย of registration numberย KBW 349W.ย
The Chinese nationals allegedly threatened to use violence on the victim at the time of the robbery.
They pleaded not guilty and were detained at Central police station.
Earlier on Wednesday, two Chinese nationals were charged with stealing Kshs70 Million from their employer.
Du Fang and Liu Fang Ying were accused ofย intent to defraud their employerย Huย Shi Wenย in which they allegedlyย conspired to steal the property.
The crime is documented to have occurred on diverse dates between 1st July 2017 and 10th September 2018 in Nairobi.
During another incident in 2018,ย fiveย Chinese Nationalsย were arrested in Nairobiโs Lavington areaย with their countryโs military uniform and other deadly weapons.
