As we sat down to engage each other about our time together in Florida and the journey ahead, it just caught my attention of how we are made of more; how a dream can be born in the strangest of situations and metamorphose into a major force.
Without any doubt, having these students here was a dream come true not just to them but also to me in particular. There is always a great feeling that attacks you when your hope becomes reality!
Being together embedded a family-kind of bonding that I believe will coalesce into a community of brilliant Kenyans in the US. How powerful such would be!
Our conversation was more of a pep talk, raising energy and enthusiasm about the journey ahead as they pursue their Master’s programs.
