Kenya Airlift program-The journey of a thousand miles from Tampa, Florida to Huntsville, Alabama. I think the journey to the ‘Rocket City’ as Huntsville is popularly known didn’t start on a single day.
Rather, when we first had our first student at the iconic University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), we were making the initial baby steps.
These small strides would culminate into something bigger than anyone would ever anticipate. On one a typical warm morning in Florida, while checking over my emails, there was some incredible news, which couldn’t escape my attention.
Our partnership with UAH was no longer a dream, but an outright reality.
The arrangement was the precipitation of our 10-hour trip to Huntsville for the official signing of our agreement.
The road trip was one of the best therapies we ever had as we experienced the beauty of America, crossing through different states and mulling happily over our achievements.
