It’s different from the Kenya often seen, but it’s the one that we’re inspired and refreshed by- the spaces, sights & scenes, the colors, the cosmopolitan culture & lifestyle. The government has secured $600 million in short-term financing for road construction, backed by fuel levies, to address infrastructure needs . However, challenges persist, such as a projected 4.7% GDP growth in 2024, indicating a slowdown from previous years .

In a significant political development, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was impeached in October 2024 on charges including inflaming ethnic tensions and violating his oath of office. He was succeeded by Kithure Kindiki, following a temporary halt by the High Court .
