We are deeply saddened to announce the passing away of Mr. John Thinwa in Omaha, Nebraska after a long battle with cancer.
He was the father to Maureen Gatere, also of Omaha Nebraska . His last wish was to make it home (Kenya) but due to his failing health condition it was too late for him to get home and say his final goodbyes to his other children and parents.
Due to the small Kenyan Community in Omaha there is a great need of extra financial assistance so as to be able to respect his last wish.
As we continue to support Maureen’s family during this difficult time to meet the funeral and repatriation expenses, we will be having a fundraiser on Saturday, June 15th at 1:00pm at Maureen’s home. The address is
