Kenyan immigrant gets prison for resisting arrest in Washington
A Kenyan immigrant who overstayed his visa was ordered to prison for a year and a day for resisting arrest when immigration officers discovered he was out of status.

The officers discovered that Maina’s visa had expired and attempted to arrest him, but Maina resisted arrest and flailed around to the point where one officer suffered a broken leg, a news release from the United States Attorney’s office said.
He pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Concord.-unionleader.com
