Change is one thing we can be sure of in this life. This ranges from our relationships with people around us to relocating to new areas. The cells in our bodies are also not left behind in change because when cells wear out they are replaced by new ones. Therefore, change is the one certainty in our world.
However, we have an unchanging God who even says so in his word in Malachi 3:6 “I am the Lord, I do not change.” We can therefore depend on God to be the same forever as he is our firm foundation who gives us security in this changing world.
We may be caught up in the swirling tide of time, change of circumstances but we can rest our souls on the everlasting arms, which will never let us go. As we go through life let us face life’s changes by looking and trusting in our unchanging God.
