The Kenya Economic Report is an annual publication in which KIPPRA scholars summarize Kenya’s recent economic performance and analyze future prospects, benchmarking growth against neighboring countries and offering recommendations for policy adjustments.
This is KIPPRA’s 6th annual economic report and is produced in consultation with the Government of Kenya’s Ministry of Planning, Ministry of Finance and Central Bank.
Following lunch and introductions, KIPPRA Executive Director John Omiti will give a short presentation highlighting the results and takeaways of the report. After the presentation, Mwangi Kimenyi, Brookings Africa Growth Initiative Director, and Stephen Hayes, President and CEO of The Corporate Council on Africa, will provide comments and moderate a discussion among roundtable participants.
