A woman collapsed while giving a testimony at church on Sunday in Syekumulo village, Bumula.
Voleta Nasambu had just asked the congregation at Syekumulo Salvation Army church to pray for her.
She was rushed to Bumula health centre where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
”This woman’s life could have been saved if the nurses had hurried out to treat her,” said Bumula ward MCA Henry Nyongesa.
Nyongesa asked county health executive Stephen Kokonya to address the alleged laxity among the nurses at the health centre.
Nasambu’s body was taken to Bungoma county referral hospital mortuary.
