A man at Tairi Mbili area of Eldoret Town, Uasin Gishu County has committed suicide after allegedly being beaten and cheated on by his wife frequently.
According to neighbours, the middle-aged man complained of constantly being abused and mistreated by his wife, a fact that led him too seek their intervention.
This was not the first time the middle-aged man had tried to commit suicide, he had reportedly attempted to hang himself in the past but was rescued by neighbours.
He had also reportedly tried to burn the house after an episode of domestic violence meted out by his wife after he inquired about her alleged infidelity.
Reports indicate that he had previously sought the intervention of family and friends over his wife’s infidelity and abuse.
