Laureen Noelle Awino Otwala, a 34-year-old Kenyan woman, was reported missing in Pasadena, California, in August 2015.
She had been a student at Fuller Theological Seminary and was last seen on July 10, 2015. Her disappearance prompted significant concern among her family and the Kenyan diaspora community.
