We will not allow gay relations within ACK-New Anglican Bishop
The Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) Archbishop elect Jackson Ole Sapit will not allow gay relations within the church.
Bishop Ole Sapit who spoke in Narok on Saturday as he returned to his home church, said homosexual relations are non-biblical despite endorsement by a section of the Anglican Church.
Only a day after trouncing five other contenders for the position of the Anglican Church of Kenya Archbishop, Bishop Jackson Ole Sapit returned to his home church in Narok.
Faithful turned up bright and early to congratulate one of their own.
It is at St Lukes Church that the new archbishop says he grew up and formed his foundation in the ministry.
As he awaits his installation as Archbishop of the Church on July 3rd, 2016, Bishop Ole Sapit waded in the controversial topic that has the Anglican Church globally uneasy.
โFamily or marriage is between a man and a woman. Relationships between people of the same sex are not teachings of the Bible. We cannot allow that in the Anglican Church,โ he said.
The archbishop elect later proceeded to Kericho diocese where he presides as bishop.
