This comingย Sunday ,6/16ย 13 will be Fathers day.ย Father’s Dayย is a celebration honoringย fathersย and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. This year, Father’s day will carry an exceptionally heavier meaning for Steve Njoroge Ngugi. Steve is mourning the sudden loss of ย his wife and mother of their twins. She (Jennifer Moormann) was promoted to eternal glory in the wee hours of Friday last week, 6/7/13.
The funeral was heldย on Wednesdayย in DeSoto. Jennifer left the twins , Xavier Ngugi and Avonlea Ngugi at the care of their father, Steve Ngugi. They are 13 months old.ย Steve is brother to Michael Ngugi, Sarah Ngugi and Edward Ngugi among others.ย A memorial service and support for this family is planned for this comingย Sunday 6/16/13ย at Christ Covenant Church atย 11:00 amย during the mainย service.As we are all aware, Steve will still need to go to work so as to provide for his twins. He will therefore need a full time caretaker for his children and many other things that comes with parenthood as he takes the role of father and mother.
