It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Elizabeth Wanjiru Kuria which occurred on Friday, January 2, 2015 in Seattle, WA after a long illness that involved multiple complications.
She was mother to Edward Karogi, of Raleigh NC, Mother in law to Lucy Njeri Karogi of Raleigh NC, Lucy Karanja, Janet Kuria of Seattle, WA, Joe Kuria, Jack Kuria, Ann Kuria, Gladwell Gitau of Kenya and aunt to Dr. Joe Karogi of Raleigh, NC. She was grandmother to many. “Mum, you have fought a good fight and won the race. We love you and always will. We are happy to know that you are no longer in pain and are in our father’s house.”
Friends and family are meeting for prayers & support to help defray medical and funeral home costs and expenses to repatriate her body back to Kenya. Details regarding memorial & funeral service will be provided at a later date.
