Kanyari Resumes Church with New ‘Miracle’ to Combat Poverty

Barely a week after he made headlines for his new Sh 30 million Mercedes Benz, Kanyari is now on the spotlight for doing what he is best known for-performing miracles.

In a video that has been posted on the internet, Kanyari is seen back in business at his church helping his congregants ward off spirits of poverty and witchcraft using โ€˜shukas.โ€™

The controversial โ€˜prophetโ€™ย prays and anoints the โ€˜shukasโ€™ with the promise that sickness, witchcraft and any other ills will go away as soon as congregants take the โ€˜shukasโ€™ home.

An elderly woman caused a scene during a public rally in Nandi in which Deputy President William Ruto was the main guest.

The woman whose identity has not been confirmedย attempted to make her way to the dais where the DP was making his speech.

It took the intervention of area chief, police andย Nandi Woman Representative Zipporah Kering to thwart the womanโ€™s attempts.

This is not the first time a Kenya has attempted to force their way toย very important persons (VIPs).

In March this year during Beyond Zero marathon at the Nyayo National Stadium, a granny tried to deliver a portrait of President Uhuru Kenyatta to the First Lady as a gift, but her attempts were stopped in their tracks.
