– Political rivalry between Deputy President William Ruto and Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto have intensified after the governor decided to form his own party – Chama cha Mashinani
– Governor Isaac Ruto has maintained that he would not join the Jubilee Alliance Party as directed by the DP who is the URP party leader
The political truce between Deputy President William Ruto and Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto seems to be over.
Isaac Ruto is now accusing the DP of criss-crossing the Rift Valley abusing leaders who had refused to join the Jubilee Alliance Party (JAP).
“Every person has his duties. The deputy president has his duties… I can’t follow him all over. You (William Ruto) do your work, stop abusing other leaders. He came here to launch an electricity project that I’m the one paying for… where has he been for the past four years?” said Isaac Ruto.
Isaac Ruto made it clear that he would not join JAP and went head to form his Chama cha Mashinani party on Saturday, July 23.
