Mary Kilobi Bio
Mary Kilobi Biography: Mary Kilobi was born on 16 July 1984 in Bungoma Countyin Western Kenya. She is a Kiswahili TV anchor in KTN. Mary attended Chwele Girls High School in Bungoma County and after that joined Makerere University for her Bachelor of Arts Degree (Literature and Kiswahili).
On August 2018, news of her marriage with the prominent Secretary-General of the Central Organization of Trade Unions, Francis Atwoli became a trending topic after a man, Bungoma politician Jack Wanami Wamboka, reportedly accused Atwoli of using money from poor workers to wreck his marriage with Mary Kobi.
Mary is currently working with Standard Group Limited as a Kiswahili news Anchor/ Reporter with KTN Kenya.Before Joining KTN Kenya, Mary worked as a Producer/Editor/ Anchor with Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) for four years.

The two started living in Atwoli’s Kajiado residence as man and wife after Atwoli fulfilled the Luhya traditional formalities.
In June 2018, Atwoli sent a delegation to Kilobi’s parents in Kavula village, Bumula sub-county
where he was officially granted permission to marry the 34 years TV Personality.

Mary’s first encounter with Atwoli was way back in 2005 when she was at Makerere University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in literature and Kiswahili.
She was an intern at Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) in Kampala at the time, where the union boss had come for an interview.
They exchanged pleasantries and in the same encounter.
Six years later, when Mary returned to Kenya, they opened lines of communication and the COTU boss instantly expressed his undying love for her.
Her father, Samson Weyusia, maintains the daughter has officially been handed over to Atwoli.
