Lynn J. Munyasa Pewa, 51 of Coralville, died Saturday, June 22, 2013, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the Grace Fellowship Church in Iowa City.

She was a teacher in Kenya before moving to the United States in 2005. She settled in Iowa in 2006. She attended Kirkwood Community College and Mt. Mercy University receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2013. Her family includes her three loving children, Sylvia, Alvin and Beverly Pewa all of Coralville, her husband, Ramadhan and 7 siblings living in Kenya.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, and children’s father, Johnny Pewa, her parents, two sisters, and one brother.
