CORD co-principal Moses Wetangula and controversial blogger Robert Alai on Friday engaged in an online spat over the opposition’s presidential flag bearer.

According to Alai, Wetangula was a cry a baby who was busy blackmailing corporates for deals while Odinga was actively popularising the CORD coalition.

The blogger further mentioned the recent alleged confrontation between Wetangula and his wife claiming that the Senator had failed in putting his home together.
“Wetangula can’t even manage his own home and continue to embarrass the great Luhya men by sobbing to Karen Police station every week that he has been insulted or assaulted by his wife. How do you think you can manage Kenya with all the millions when you can’t diplomatically sort your domestic issues?” said Alai.
In a quick rejoinder, Wetangula described Alai’s remarks as pure ‘ignorance and vitriol’.
“If you want to go personal, particularly on behalf of others bwana (Mr) Alai, have facts, otherwise you look like a poor actor in a bad play,” Wetangula said.
He further defended his request to be endorsed for the presidency saying that he was the only solution if CORD was to form the next government.
“Those wailing louder than the briefed about what Weta said missing the point. When there is a problem look for a solution, not who to blame,” added Wetangula.
Contrary to Alai’s allegations that the senate minority leader had a daughter called Sheila, Wetangula denied that he did not have a child by such a name.
On Thursday, the CORD co-principal said that Odinga should drop his presidential bid and endorse him (Wetangula) because the Opposition Chief did not stand a chance of becoming the next president after being rigged out twice and losing once.

Am amused at the anti Weta bloggers like Alai displaying so much ignorance and vitriol. Weta has no daughter called Sheila.
